And that's what the old web was about yknow??? sites didn't work based on algorithms that bombard you with content that will make you stay on them, mindlessly consuming for hours. You post a bulletin or two, sometimes you blog, you check if your friends posted something, you see what the top blog are, maybe you update your profile, maybe check messages... and that's it!! and how much did that take? for me is usually like 20 minutes or less. There's just not much else to do and i think it is perfectly balanced, it's a nice way to use social media and express yourself online without feeling like you're being lured in. People are so used to be ultra online that they call any website that doesn't have a constant, massive flow of content that's directly handed to you "dead".
Spacehey is working as intended, imo

I get what ur saying but u clearly forgotten the groups and forums
dawg the only active part are the blogs nowadays
granted SOMETIMES the forums may get a post or 2

yeah forums and groups are kind of dead which is unfortunate because theyre cool features! but they still werent as active as twitter and stuff back in the myspace days either. people in those days genuinely did a lot of other things besides being on the internet

Yah you're right on that, those are a bit dead. Forums are pretty useful and def slept on by most users. And with groups, my guess is that since people can have groupchats on things like discord and etc, the groups are a bit obsolete, but i might be wrong. It still sucks that ppl prefer to use a super company app instead of this but i get it, it is what it is. It's true that spacehey is still on the underground part of the internet for now and that the broad public sees it as a mere nostalgia trip instead of a real alternative, but it might have a big moment in the future since there's an increasing demand for alternative social media sites like this one. Or it might be another similar site, idk

I don't mean spacehey is dead its just on life support
so many features (that should've been key features) are just rotting away
not to mention the layouts being closed AND HAVE YET TO RE OPEN
