 I had to do a group project for school where we had to record an instruction video. My group decided on "How to Build a Chair". Only one of us had the right chair model, so we were driven to her house. We did the project and she showed us her room, and now I have been re-inspired to decorate my room.

When we left, I felt bad asking for a ride back because we all live so far from each other and, let's be honest, I like being able to say I did something on my own.

Sooo I go lost. But then I got back on track (where would I be without my phone:'). But by the time I made it to more familiar surroundings, it was 8 PM and the sun had gone down and I would have gotten home around 9. 

Luckily my grandmother lives close to the bus station I was at, so I ended up spending the night there with her and my grandfather. I haven't done that in YEARS, so it was really nice to spend time with them like this again. I could have kept busing, but I just felt like this was something I had to do. My grandpa snuck out to buy me a burger (I felt SO bad), and then I sat up with them for a bit. I then fell asleep watching Tele-novelas with my grandmother, and then had a big breakfast in the morning. I helped out with laundry, and I felt SO well-rested.

                                                   

I have such fond memories of my grandparent's house. I'd sleep over, then we would go for breakfast in the morning. My grandmother would pick out my clothes for the day, and brush my hair, and we would listen to music and then we would go for a sweet treat or I would follow her around while she ran errands. Then my parents would come meet up with us and then I'd go home with a bunch of extra stuff, it was great.

                       

My grandparent's house is so cozy. The living room is FULL of my grandma's plants, and they're all so healthy looking. She's who I got my green-thumb from. The kitchen has a blue-theme going on and she collects these plates with the blue scenes on them. She has a couple of them out on display. The kitchen window has a bunch of small nick-knacks on it that my grandpa has found on the ground, and there's usually a Wishbone on there for when they want to make a wish.

                 

And I AM IN LOVE WITH THEIR BATHROOM. It's in the basement, its ALWAYS clean, they have these jester figurines on a shelf and everything is blue. EPITOME of peace. 

While there my grandma asked me to help her sell some of her Cacao (essentially chocolate milk but a lot better) at an upcoming Tamale festival, so going to be doing that soon.

My grandmother's always asking me to stay over, and it felt like the right time to say yes. It was a Friday, I was tired, and I wanted to spend more time with them. I've been feeling pretty down lately, and, I'll admit it, I've been feeling pretty lonely. I don't speak with too many people, and I haven't seen my close friend since New Years. And I know my grandmother's been pretty lonely too, so I think this did us some good. It was the kind of day I needed.
