My honest opinion about Warrior Cats

Please, don’t get me wrong. I love Warrior Cats, the fandom, the roleplays, the concept, everything. Well, almost everything. TELL ME WHY SOME OF THE BOOKS ARE SO BADLY WRITTEN?! You CANNOT convince me that the second series is GOOD. Like tell me, why did they have to describe the journeys in the most boring, set text coded way ever?! And don’t get me started on the Firestar’s Quest. The plot itself was actually really good, the idea that somewhere out there resides a whole another clan that was denied help and exiled from the forest?! BUT WHY DID THEY HAVE TO MAKE IT SO BORING?! I don’t know A SINGLE person who claims to have Firestar’s Quest as their favorite superedition. It’s even hard to find someone who even claims to like it tbh 😭

And then there’s Skyclan’s Destiny. I LOVE SKYCLAN SO MUCH but the superedition was so un-readable that I read it [alongside Firestar’s Quest] AT NIGHT so that I wouldn’t waste my daytime on reading it! 

And again, it’s the problem with writing the journeys! After them, all of these books were fine, really! Maybe except Skyclan’s Destiny. They tried to put so many different threads in it that even after reading it you have no idea what was this book even about T_T. That’s also why I love Surviviors [another series by Erin Hunter] so much. The packs are traveling almost nonstop but their adventures are always fun and interesting and not described like „Storm dived and caught a fish. She was very proud.” And guess what?! SURVIVORS WAS WRITTEN BY ANOTHER TEAM [so different people worked on Surviviors and on Warriors]. Maybe that’s why :P !!

Soooo yeah, I honestly prefer Surviviors over Warriors QwQ
