DAY 1 OF TRIP!!!

Okay, i lied. Its day 2 as im writing this, 5am, but, I DIGRESS!

Me and three of my friends are going to northern california, think san francisco! I had such a comfortable fit onnn, sweatpants, compression shirt, AND a hoodie. Anyways we packed and stuff and took the first bus north for four hours and ended up at...

UCSB! Super nice campus, they have a beach, palm trees, a lagoon. When you think of california, this is what you think of. They were having a fair type thing and there were a whole buncha frats and clubs on the sides of the walkways, i got a free celsius, narcan, anddd... there was a kickboxing club who thought we went there and offered us a competition. We did pull ups, i think i did like 15? And so we won, yay! Anyways we left after gettin some really good subway and took the next bus north for four more hours! And we ended up at...

UCSC! GORGEOUS GOREGOUS BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS. Have you ever wanted to live in a forest, even better, STUDY IN A FOREST, even better, A REDWOOD FOREST!??! if you havent seen a redwood tree, please look it up, i could never do it justice, neither can pictures but its the closest youll get unfortunately. They are these HUGE trees that live for hundreds of years! One of my favorite trees 100 %. I cannot express how much i love this campus, a mix of brutalist architecture with overgrown cabin aesthetic, goshhh 🤤

After that we to the town next to it and got some, ...mediocre lets say, pizza. And we saw this protest and fires in the streets, scary! After that we head over to the hotel and ugh FINALLY! we put down all our stuff and change into swimming trunks and jump in the hot tub at 8:30. So so relaxing, we stay there for about half an hour and EVENTUALLY, RELUCTANTLY get out. We head to the gym for an hour and a half, i get a quick jog in, and we head back to the room. All of us basically do our own thing, i was reading the road by cormack mcarthy (writer known for no country for old men!).
