This dream got me to wake up on the edge

It all starts with the scenery getting introduced, it is in a village and for some reason the war of the independence was taking place. Everyone's trying to hide, and I'm no exception. 

I'm at my grandma's house with my best friend. The plan is to hide our stuff and then search to a place for us to hide. We managed to hide our things under a bed but when it's our turn to hide, some people entered the house. A man and a woman. As soon as that happened I rushed to the cabinet where the TV is and hid behind it, completely forgetting about my friend. I don’t know what those people wanted from us but it was for sure that nothing good.

I remained hidden until the man approached. He starts searching the room I’m in. Fortunately, he did not find me but he walked towards the woman to tell her to search there if she could find anything else. In that time I managed to break the window and get outside. 

As soon as I’m outside I go to the street where I find a man. I knew this man was dangerous the moment I saw him so I started running away. Something that was ultimately useless since he managed to get in front of me. He pulls out a knife, and just about when I was gonna get murdered, I wake up.
