Rooftop Summer
This rooftop wasn't empty, not then.
Middle of summer, everything melting.
A lunch break like any other.
With a dazed mind, I opened that door.
All white but a silhouette in the center.
Her back turned, watching the wide world.
She turned around, looking this way.
Her smile formed after a brief confused stare.
Colors faded in, her eyes visible.
Breaking the silence, I asked.
She forgot her lunch, apparently.
I shared mine, out of pity.
And one thing led to another...
