A couple years ago, a co-pilot deliberately crashed a plane. I suggest airliners add a parachute system for the cabin of the plane. Since the parachutes can only support the weight of the passengers inside the cabin, create a safety mechanism that sheds the wings, fuselage and engines, with an explosive device that blows them up in pieces after being attached so that the falling debris doesn't cause too much damage if it happens over a city.
Problem solved?

No, the speeds the airplane are travelling at (especially during a crash with uncontrolled speed), the parachute would be futile
