sonic heroes is nigh unplayable

i want to like sonic heroes so bad, i really really do. i love the story of the game, i love metal sonic, i love the team mechanic, i love the level environments. despite all that, and despite the 13 mods ive added to try to fix the game, it is unplayably frustrating. tails is annoying to control when flying, certain moves have little extra tidbits like having to airdash at a wall to wall jump, the camera does whatever it wants, most ledges are way too easy to fall off, and levels are like 10 minutes long at least, which makes 3 lives insanely painful because you can die 20 mins of gameplay in and have to do it all over again. 

anyway thats enough being mean i love you sonic heroes i love you neo metal sonic i love you character driven stories i love you super power of team work. 

i also finished unleashed and god im glad i did i never want to play a werehog level again
