I've been in a painting mood lately. I painted up like 3 mechs for Battletech in the past 2 weeks. Normally, painting minis annoys me. For a while, I saw painting my plastic soldiers as a road block to what I really wanted to do: play simulated battles with my plastic soldiers.
However, I've discovered this great relaxing feel to painting. For a while, I also didn't like painting because of a lack of confidence. Like I can't take my pleb-level minis to a gameshop. after painting for a bit though, I just started doing it up to a level I like. Really took the stress out of painting.
