Am I really weird?- Blog #12

My brother keeps telling me I should find "my people" because I'm too cringe and weird for me to ever get along with someone normal. His words, not mine.

I'm very much aware that I'm different, weird and I won't deny, a bit cringe too. Unfortunately, that's how I function and it's my normalcy. I'm a goofy goober at best.

I just so happen to like remembering dates and birthdays, either historical or just people in general, then go in depth about it. I like dinosaurs to the point that if I see or hear one, I get super excited and want to talk about it. I like organizing and seeing everything like if I'm playing Tetris.

There's sounds and music that I love so much that I can't help but move my feet or hands while moving back and forth, or pretend I'm conducting an orchestra. I love electric guitars a lot. I'm such a picky eater too. There's some smells, textures and tastes that I avoid in certain food. And even if I have a favorite food, I'm still a bit picky about it.

I love flowers and kiddish stuff too. I love Shrek and Jurassic Park a lot. I could watch those movies every single day. I don't talk as often and I get overwhelmed easily as well. I don't like loud noises (unexpected ones) and I usually don't like physical affection either (hugs make me uncomfortable).

I don't know, I've always been an outcast and called all kinds of names since I was a kid and wondered if there was something about me that made others stay away from me. I've became pretty socially awkward and anxious.
