no words can describe how much HATE i have in my heart for corporations. for the sake of this shit im just gonna be talking about roblox because i love roblox but i hate what its become
i joined in about 2014 or so . back when it had the old logo and everything, and when it was full of creativity
that whole “anyone can make a game” concept was BEAUTIFUL and so inspiring to little old baby me. literally the idea of making something so simple but so cool was great. and the VARIETY of games was super cool!! creativity was flourishing and all that
but corporate greed caused prices to inflate and for the logo to turn into a sad grey square. it disgusts me. i dont care if its “professional” wheres the SOUL. corporations kill themselves so that they look good on pieces of paper without taking into account their own customers. logos become simplistic. mottos get shorter. websites turn sad and grey and miserable. how do u expect a kid to flourish with such an uncreative and dull website??? theres no colors, no fun ads, and its advertised to give them as much money as possible
it really does make me sick. every game is the same now. some stupid tower defense. a battlegrounds game. yet another city rp game. NOBODY EVEN RPS ANYMORE. they sucked the joy out of kids hearts in order to fuel their own greed
and not to mention how this ties into cringe culture and all that, because people shit on little kids for liking things. its sick to force a kid to act different because of YOUR standards. it disgusts me. cringe culture should get shot dead and never be buried. i can make a whole other rant about that and i probably will
corporations are total fucking SICKOS!!!!!!!

Yeah I totally agree with you. For me I learnt about "cringe" culture in 2016 as a kid and I felt like I couldn't like anything that someone considered cringe so I never liked anything openly and I felt really ashamed if someone did know what I liked (like playing roblox and minecraft).
Honestly, I feel like many things are losing colour and flair. I don't know how it is where you live but in my town the only places that are being built are these "investment" properties that are ugly and dull as hell (I hate them so muchhhhh..) and more and more things are being covered in goddamn cement and trees are being removed FOR NO REASON. Most people my age dress exactly the same too and I'm not asking for a runway show in people's daily lives but I feel like there's barely any variety anymore and if there is, they get bullied for no reason other than daring doing something different and expressing themselves. I barely see preteens dress how people my age did back then, they're all so trendy and no hate to them but it's kinda weird? idk how to put it exactly.
That's kinda why I started to dress how I wanted to even if it's weird, I also started doing more hobbies to counter the dullness that feels more and more intense everyday and I really recommend that. Corporations want us to endlessly consume and rely on them for literally everything. Sorry for this kinda rant, I'm happy that someone else is talking about this kind of stuff cuz it seems like most ppl don't notice.
Oh, I just remembered one time where some classmate was telling me about minecraft and if I played it and i just LIED?! and said "No, I don't know what minecraft is" when I've been playing at that time for YEARS lol i was afraid of liking literally anything
