trans guy thoughts

totally random blurb here, but as a transman i find myself judging cismen a lot. their inability to do simple tasks like cleaning, cooking or laundry compared to women is so bad. or in general not knowing anything about their partners, how to grocery shop, emotional intelligence, etc.

im a guy, but at times i feel more man than most cismen. :‑X

I do the cooking, cleaning, and the laundry and im a cis man. Ive tried to get my wife to do some of these things because its hard to do them all by myself especially since i work full time. She doesn't know how to do many of these because her family didn't teach her or make her do these things growing up. When i was a kid my mom was teaching me how to do these things just as much as my dad was teaching me how to do things like work with tools and do work around the house.

As far as grocery shopping i dont shop with a list i look for items on sale or clearance so i can save as much money as possible. i also have like 10 different stupid grocery store apps on my phone so i can get coupons and use the store rewards. I hate doing it because its so time consuming looking at 300 different coupons for each store but its worth the money you save. My most insane deal was i got 4 boxes of cake mix for 6 cents each. The store let me combine a sale with both a store coupon and manufacturer coupon.

As far as emotional intelligence well i had to go to therapy to learn how to better listen to my own emotions and other peoples. No one in my family was good at that so that was something i had to learn on my own.

It makes me sad when i see trans people judge cis men because it happens a lot online and not all of us are the same. I used to follow a trans woman on tumblr for a few years, she was so cute and i loved to just read her post and what was on her mind. Then one day out of nowhere she started posting things like how she hated all cis men and it made me sad. This was someone i really looked up to and liked a lot and to know they would judge me just for being who i am sucked.

im not complaining though because i get it. The amount of hatred and judgment trans people have to deal with on a day to day basis its no surprise that some people feel that way.

sorry for rambling lol

don't worry about the ramble, i was afraid it was a hate comment lol. but that's all nice to hear, and that's why I didn't say all, just the majority im unfortunately around. (cooking and cleaning specifically cause of the culture I was raised in)

but im happy to see you be supportive of trans people, its a nice change of pace from the usual replies i get. thank you for being you and giving me hope in other men, cause at times it's easy to get tunnel vision. :)
