There was a skramz house show last friday and it honestly was such an experience!!

The bands which played were doris, Fear of Horses, Casey Jones Village, The Middle Chapter and Body Shirt.

By far one of my favourite gigs I've been to- it was held in a house in the inner city and about 20+ people showed up, tickets were $10 each and thankfully the weather was in our favour because the whole duration of the show (round 6:30pm - 10pm) it didn't rain until right after the show ended.

at some point in the middle, cops showed up because there were people on the road (the house's backyard led to one of those empty short backroads) and I'm pretty sure a possible noise complaint. to combat this, all and i mean ALL of us had to be inside the venue- A small backyard that I'm shocked everyone could fit into- it was hella cramped and yet there was still a pit and mosh- to be honest the pit etiquette was the best I've seen out of every Sydney gig I've been to. I was squashed in bushes at some point but that's apart of the fun of it. had some drinks spilt on me and inhaled enough second hand smoke from cigarettes to kill a small horse, and i still had fun.

my friends and partner that i went with were having teh time of their lives, especially my partner, by teh end of it all he was soaked in sweat. i got split up with them when we all were being fit in the backyard.

Doris were bloody awesome, if angels sung that would be what is sounded like. Much thanks to the bands that played and the persons house used for the venue- got introduced to a few new bands and got a deeper dive into the growing Sydney skramz scene.
