Literally, I've been watching "YOU" on Netflix for a while and I hate that so many people; especially on TikTok can't seem to understand that Joel's victims are not to blame for a lot of his actions. I've seen so many people say "It's Beck's fault" It's loves fault" or "It's Kandace's fault" NO! Joel is like that because he's obsessive, likes to believe he's aware of his actions, and thinks he's the "nice guy" despite the fact he brings himself into killing his partners. I am still watching "YOU" and maybe need to rewatch after the final season comes out to get a better understanding but trying to kill Kandace is not HER fault. You don't kill someone cause they cheated like bsffr, Beck was literally stalked cause he kept thinking of finding the "perfect" one for him and to me, I think he just wants to fix his "lovers". Same way with Love, she was the spitting image of Joel. They literally went hand and hand together, like if he did something wrong so did she, if she killed someone so did he. It's the fact he lets himself think love is "crazy" despite they both are. I got so mad about that. I still am. I really do believe Joel keeps trying to fix the women he LUSTS over not love and once he's done that and realizes they have no more problems he gets irritated and feels as if something has to be wrong. But this is mostly a rant about some fans of "YOU". I could go on about how there are way more shows, movies, and animes of people not understanding the theme and characters. Like CSM, Evangelion, the boys, American pyscho, etc!!
I hate people who watch complex shows and the most obvious thing goes over their head
