Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children (review)

Just watched the movie. It was on Netflix and was about to be removed so I finally watched it.

I had seen a lot of Tik Tok clips of the movie and immediately wanted to watch it because the story and aesthetic were right up my alley. It had a similar vibe to it as Lemony Snicket's a series of unfortunate events (another movie and show I really liked). Now both of these were originally books, and I have yet to read them, but I will when I get them. 

I liked the story and the atmosphere, to me the special effects didn't look cheap and distracting. The characters as well were really nice with their personalitys and designs.

Although the movie felt a little short, I would have liked to know more about the characters as indivituals with their backgrounds and stories explained more in dephth.

All and all, it was really good in my opinion and I might come back to update this in the future if I read the book or rewatch the movie.

I am terrible at giving points and stuff, but I'll give this a 8 or 9.5 out of 10.

Would recommend to people who like more unconventional superpowers, stuff about time travel and loops as well as to anyone who likes a more peculiar style of movie or show.
