u might enjoy This Is Our Story by ashley elston (contemporary murder mystery w romance), the All of Us Villains series by amanda foody & c l herman (fantasy murder tournament w lots of romance), Vigilante by kady cross (revenge crimes and some romance), or Dead Girls Society by michelle krys (dangerous "game" ending in death and some romance)!
Maybe The Iliad...? is not a crime novel in the modern sense, but it does have elements of conflict...and a bit of forbidden love? 🦘
Tbh love and crime aren't my favorite topics in books and the Iliad is an Epic war poem, I don't know if you would be interested in reading it
But if you are looking more for some love category, perhaps The Odyssey is a "better" central theme of love than The Iliad, which is more about revenge and conflict
Well I have one. Its called the giver its sci fi with a hint of romance honestly even if your looking for Exactly romance and crime I don't have much but you HAVE to read it one of the best books I've read
