I'm very uncertain about writing this and posting this, because I still don't know exactly what kind of content goes on this platform and what kind of content doesn't. But I thought I would do a sort of diary entry, but combined with the "I am a mosaic of everyone I've ever loved" and the butterfly effect, because those thoughts take up a lot of space in my life. It'll probably also have a sort of list format because I love making lists. Honestly this is just ramblings.
1. I hung out with my cat
I have been surrounded by cats my whole life. I love them. This love started because my dad had a cat when I was born, Tim. Tim was a very nice cat, but also very weird. So in a way, this part of my mosaic is my dad.
2. I listened to Only The Poets
I love their music. I discovered them in 2022 when they played support for Louis Tomlinson (don't tell anyone, but I actually hated their music before hearing them play live). I love Louis Tomlinson because of One Direction, and I love One Direction because my best friend told me about them. So this part of my mosaic is my best friend.
3. I read (The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Narnia, and the Bible)
I love reading. My dad was a librarian before I was born, so anything else would be strange. My dad's past and his passion for literature means that my parents truly nurtured my love for reading. So this part of my mosaic is my parents.
The Bible and Narnia is because a priest once told me to watch Narnia as a way to prepare myself for my confirmation, since it has so much religious symbolism. I listen to this priest, despite not being super religious, because my grandma introduced me to the church he worked at and their loving atmosphere. This part of my mosaic is my grandma.
4. I spent time on SpaceHey
One of my best friends introduced me to this platform, and I decided to give it a try. This part of my mosaic is that friend.
5. I wore my fuzzy socks with bears on them
These are the coziest socks ever. I got them as a gift when I was in Japan, from my host student's grandparents. This part of my mosaic is my japanese host student, who was absolutely amazing.
I hope this content fits okay on this platform. What parts of your life are a mosaic of your loved ones?
Love, Eli
