Too Many

This is more of a rant but, anyways—

There are way too many folks on the road who have a driver's license and even possess a car but are absolute ASS when it comes to driving. Because, tell me, how have you been driving for over five years and still drive like a twelve-year-old who plays too much GTAV? You have no idea what a red light is, what a blinker is, what a turning lane is, or any of the most fundamental aspects of driving. The sad part is that I can't completely blame these people for their poor driving skills. It is more the fault of our ineffective licensing system.

Because all someone has to do is wait till they become eighteen, take a driver's test, and BOOM, they get a license. This test is so simple that a twelve-year-old child might be able to complete it; the only thing holding them back is their age. Aside from that, you do not need to be an excellent driver, or even a safe driver, to drive in the United States. That is simply bad. It's no surprise that there are so many vehicle accidents when people who don't know how to drive are allowed to drive.
