A shared dream...?

I feel like I've seen other dreaming people in my dreams. They don't move like everyone else, but I don't have enough awareness or agency to go confront them. They move like puppets being yanked on strings, a route already planned out for them as they are just observes of what the fuck is going on in the shared dream. Has anyone else felt this? Or am I just going crazy?
