First Post

Good morning! It is just past one in the morning and instead of going to bed I am here! A friend recommended this website and so far it seems nice! I like how simple and straightforward it is to make an account. I'll probably be posting my crafts, cat pics, and the occasional text post about whatever.

Most of the lights are out right now because my roommate has a bedtime that she likes to keep to, so I'm sitting at the dining table lit by the kitchen light and the glow from my screen. From my window I can see cars going by. Its not a main street and yet there never seems to be a time without someone going by. 

Lavitz (my cat) is waiting somewhat patiently for me to stop messing with the computer and pay attention to her. Whenever I've been typing too long she likes to come over and poke me with the tips of her claws until I stop and show that I'm still alive.

I'm kind of hungry. I forgot to eat most of today, I only had lunch when roomie reminded me, so now might be the perfect time for a quiet midnight snack.

My current craft projects are: a cardigan that I've had 75% of the way done for a couple years now (I'm stuck on the sleeves, the pattern uses short rows to turn the shoulder but their placed oddly so i need to figure out another way to do them), a quilt that I'm almost done cutting the fabric for (its my first quilt and I'm kind of excited about it, It's a log cabin pattern), a knitted sweater vest that was supposed to be a gift for someone a couple years ago (10% complete), and I recently acquired a weaving loom that I'm excited to try out soon.
