ipod music update!! (artists)

I am well aware nobody cares but me but I lost over 800 songs from the 2000s that my cousin had downloaded on her ipod, including some that are never to be recovered, like a 1h dj'ing session only titled 'sesión para myspace' (session for myspace). Good news is I have free space to put my own shit in there! And I've been at it but it is TEDIOUS, mannnn. I've been in search of music worthy of being downloaded and have only found 190-something so far. There is a LOT missing because I have my most listened to in physical format and can listen to it anyway/want to just get it in there directly from the CDs but I'm lazyyy.
