How do I find clothes like tracy from thirteen, Avril in 2002, something like dark n kinda grunge but not tiktok grunge :,(
hii people, its 2025 and yes i am obviously interested in 00's style. but its hard to find those kind of clothes nowadays :_(
I know that 00's clothing may be handmade by themselves most of the time but i would also want some tips and know how to make them? like what do i use to make them and where i can find the tutorials, if you get what i mean.
buttt what brands i can buy from that arent Shein, Amazon, Hot Topic etc... @-@ and i want actual Y2K styles, not acubi or in TikTok's way.
I also would want some advices how to not make my outfits so simple and plain, i want to know where to get accessories like bracelets, necklaces etc... p.s how to layer the clothes perfectly!

i would say thrifting, but places like that are supa hit or miss :/ if you want to buy most pieces like how they are, its really expensive too.. i got lucky cause my mom had a lot of classic 00's clothing lol, you can try seeing if you can get any hand-me-downs!! other than that, diy is the only other good option
omg no way ;d my mom was a badass in 2000s but unfortunately she didn't save any clothes what a disappoint! D: and yupp! i do thrifting sadly, my area don't have good clothings so its mostly 2010 preppy girls clothes at the thrift stores. thank you for the advices thoo <3

im not a fashion expert but i think diy is the easiest way to go. Sewing is not that hard and you can look for tutorials to personalize clothes on pinterest. At least thats what i do since i dont have much money for clothes but thrifting is also a good way of finding y2k clothes!!

honestly id try thrifting if theres any places around u, u can find some hidden gems, even if its only a piece or two
