Work in Progresses

Some paintings and things I'm working on currently! Im really trying to find my style, but I really like semi-realism. I've also taken in an interest in pointillism, (Its very tedious but, I enjoy the process- and that's the most important part.)
I won't lie, I will switch, temporally abandon, return to an idea. I won't work on something if it isn't fun.
Anyway, enough Yapping here's some of my art. :]

This is a study Im doing of some ptarmigans! ( also known online as the awebo bird) I havent really gotten to the snow yet (dreading it) but I like how its turning out so far!I'll probably be working on this one forever. Its just such a large drawing. with so... so so much grass. I still want to finish it. I really wanted to mimic the style of those ancient tile set masterpeices. I was also really inspired by Seurat.
This is still a draft :[, I love rendering metal so im saving it for a rainy day. I really wanted to mimic those art nevou pages that you see in the reprints of some old english liteature. Something like this.

That's all I have for today! I hope you guys have an awesome weekend.

Thank you!! :] I use Clip and Procreate.
I usually finish and digitalize stuff I draw traditionally in Clip, but on Procreate, my process is fully digital. If I'm referencing a real image I usually use the grid method, and zoom in and out to check if looks correct.
Painting wise, I usually start with the shadows regardless of what style I'm using. It helps better define the shape of what ever I'm painting, and I kinda build it up from there!
The brushes I used in these drawings are here!
