one project a month -- birds on film

finished project this month before deadline HUGE NEWS for the lazy idiot community

this month i had planned to experiment with a new pixel art / video method but then i got lazy. this is all footage from a few years ago, and basically an expanded version of that initial project. i love the vhs aesthetic, and so i was super into all the glitchiness in the tape. 

birds are kinda a thing for me  --  not super sure why, but my parents have always been into them and i think they're neat symbols / omens / harbingers so idk. and pigeons are just silly and kinda sad and i don't want to do any deep introspection but perhaps we are interested in things that hold up a mirror to our own existence. or maybe birds are just cool. 

again nostalgia is in play and that it because i am stuck in arrested development and i like the noise these cameras make!
