Like, we all remember the scene, emo, prep, etc stuff of the 2000s, and how many people consider it cringe, but I wonder how long it's gonna take for people to get tired of the "aesthetic" culture of today-
Like, all the coquette, cottagecore, clean girl aesthetic, scenecore, "goth", old money, this core that core, I don't think this sh is that old, I wonder how long it's gonna take for people to finally get tired of it and just. Be normal about things again. I wonder if that'll ever happen.
I mean, I don't have anything against people choosing a niche for themselves in terms of fashion and interests, it's none of my business, but you gotta admit it gets toxic real quick when people start gatekeeping, bullying, etc
Whatever

I don't know about anyone else, but I've already been tired of this stupid decade's "culture" ever since the very moment it began, and I'm saying this as a teen of this stupid decade myself (but hey, what can I say for myself other than the fact that I'm an old soul?).
I'm probably going to remember much of this decade's fashion in a negative light and won't have any sort of nostalgia for it in the future, except for when it comes to the revival of certain 2000s styles, of course. I live and dress authentically 2000s and I don't care if what I like or how I dress are considered "on trend" or not.
