TOKYO!!!

∘°∘♡∘°∘day 1∘°∘♡∘°∘

I started on my journey at around 9:30 and after cars and planes and busses I found myself at Disney at around 1:00. The people I went with had an event to attend so I was able to spend like 4 hours reading under the cherry blossoms! It was so awesome! The cherry blossoms really were sooo pretty :) I will say I will was a little annoyed when the people I went with didn't come to get me after they were done with their event and just went to our hotel room without me but I can't complain toooo much because I was having a lot of fun reading outside. I was reading The Lesbiana's Guide to Catholic School btw.

Then we went to Disney and rode a few rides like big thunder mountain, the haunted mansion and the star wars ride. I had a lot of fun but I will say I wish everyone would stop rushing around! We have time, we're on vacation can't we stop and smell the roses?

My group had us wake up so very early ._. so we could stand in line like an hour before Disney opens. Once it opened we went very quickly (no stopping to smell the roses </3) to the fantasy springs area and rode a peter pan ride and ate burgers for breakfast. The we did some fast passes on some rides like the tower of terror and Journey to the center of the earth. We even rode the little boat and I got and wore Marie ears. Then we had lunch and had the little green men filled with cream. We spent some time resting before going on the indiana jones ride, the 100 leagues under the sea one and the frozen journey. I actually really liked the frozen one, more than I expected to! I thought it was super pretty, even though whenever I see an animatronic all I can think about is fnaf.

Then we headed to Sumida Tokyo (where sky tree is!) and had sushi for dinner.

∘°∘♡∘°∘day 3∘°∘♡∘°∘

In the morning me and 1 of the people from my group headed out to check out a temple. It was so pretty with all the cherry blossoms blooming and there was even an orange tree!! I got a fortune too. Then we went back to get the other person in the group and ate breakfast. It was a buffet and there was even ice cream so I obviously had some :) Then we got on a boat to go to another part of Tokyo. On the boat I talked to the family that sat next to me, I wanted to talk to the kid my age but he was really shy so I ended up talking to his mother more. They were visiting from the US and the kid has a dream of one day living in Japan so I told his mother about different exchange programs I know of. Then we went to a museum and it was really cool, we watched a planetarium show. There were exhibits on AI, you could even talk to an AI chatbot which I found a little hypocritical next to other exhibits about environmentalism and the climate crisis. But still I genuinely really liked the museum, it had a lot of interactive exhibits that were very informative made it very fun to learn. The last activity I did in Tokyo was this immersive Sherlock Holmes experience thing? It was like a play except you were also on the stage, it was super cool!

Then I went home and went to bed. 💕
