animals i find super cool!! day 1 - norwegian forest cat!

hey there! i wanted to try and make a blog, so here it is! 

(the upload schedule for this will probably be super messy since i have almost no motivation and i don't have the best memory either, sorry!! >_< i'll try and aim for every 1-3 days though!!) 

this blog will be about animals i find cool and it'll have facts and pictures and all that stuff! 

some of my favourite animals are cats, moths, birds, seals, bats, beetles, dogs, dinosaurs, isopods, shrimp and jellyfish! (wow, that's a long list!) so expect to see all of those, and more! so, let's start this blog with one of my favourite types of cats, the norwegian forest cat!

★ they are also called "skogkatt", which translates to "forest cat"!

★ they originate from norway, as you can probably tell from the name

★ their coats grew accustomed to cold climates, hence why it is so long and heavy

★ they are great climbers, and they even have legends which emphasize this

★ they are known to be great hunters - especially for rodents, and were even used by vikings!

★ their coats can have almost any colour or pattern (except colorpoint), but tabby is the most common type of coat

★ their overcoat is also water repellent!

★ they can take up to 5 years to grow fully!
