Balthazar was a young typical adult, his first time out in the world alone and clueless.

Some days he felt unable to wake up from his cold and dull surroundings.

Trying to brush his teeth and getting up to go to work.

Days, months, even time itself blurring together.

Days that he had to do horrible, grueling missions.

Making himself sleep on the cold harsh wooden 

floor instead of his bed.

As punishment and regret.

Those days were his everyday.

He soon created a world inside his mind,

one filled with happiness and cheerfulness. 

With no apparent problem.

No longer did he need to worry.

It would consume his being..

Making him think about it even during his job.

Sometimes even believing it was reality.

It was like a dream to him, a fun game.

But soon he realized something that

would put an end to his “dream”.

The sandwich you eat everyday at work 

making you feel full and filled with energy,

The cat you saw on your way to work,

petting it as it would meow and purr at you 

and continuing on with your day with a small smile on your face..

Even if life was grey, Life can be beautiful even 

with your small moments.

But it has its setbacks and problems but that's ok.

Life and its setbacks is what makes it beautiful.
