Dark romance doesn't excuse degeneracy

Claiming your book is a "dark romance" does NOT make it ok that the main love interest was interested in the main character when she was 3. A writer was recently arrested for writing a book called "daddy's little toy" where what I just said happens. This arrest caused discussion about censoring, as it always does. People are saying, "Oh, but if she got arrested for writing about it, what else could people be get arrested for writing about?". My answer is that her writing was grossly fetishing pedophilia and included disgustingly described passages about this man changing the girl's diaper as a baby. A FUCKING BABY!!! For example, "Lolita" even if It has been very mischaracterized nowadays the meaning and reason for the book was to show you this is not right. Humbert Humbert is not supposed to be a hero; he is an unreliable narrator. I'm not talking about the movies; the author himself hated them. I am talking about the book. The book said the girl was 12 years old when it started, not 16 and not 17. She was just a child "standing 4'2 in one sock". This was written to gross you out not to turn you on even if that's what tiktok tries to make us believe. NOW, "daddys little toy" was written to be a disgusting ddlg book where the author her self said "I'll never look at my kids the same"...Her OWN kids were not safe which is why she was arrested. I fucking hate booktok.

EWWW WTF THERE'S A LIMIT AT SOME POINT. THE AUTHOR OF DLT IS CREEPY ASF

Lolita is an AMAZING book. It managed to CREEP ME OUT bc of the NARRATOR. The way he describes children from age 9 to 12 made me puke in my mouth a little.
