I love Pokemon so much! It's my favorite game series ever. I don't really like the newer games tho. Sword and shield were cool still but I find that the rest after just looked awful. I didn't get acreus because I thought it looked ugly even tho 1 love the hisui Pokemon.
Also like where's the story and creepy stuff? The new stories are so plain I feel and I miss for example the dead child you could find at the trainer school in Pokemon sun and moon after defeating Hala. She was so cute and the little creepy side story was well made and really backed up the Pokédex entry of drifloon! (For everyone that doesn't know: drifloon tricks children into holding onto it and then kidnaps them. I think it also evolves that way)
I feel sun and moon or for that every game on the Dsi and 3ds/2ds consoles were a lot better than the ones for the switch. It almost feels like Pokemon abandoned their more appealing things about their games and focused on free world roaming (with violet and scarlet as an example looks awful)
I wish Pokemon would focus on its main stuff and not forcefully try free world roaming just because most modern games have it. I'd rather have a cool story and nice gameplay features like the pokecare in sun and moon or the training in X and Y.
ANYWAY
What's your favorite Pokemon game or series/movie?
Mine are: Pokemon ultra sun & moon, x & Y, the moon and sun series and the movie with Diancie!

my favorite movie was Pokemon Heroes because it features latios and latias (latias is probably fav pokemon :3). my favorite game though is pokemon emerald by far. I have dumped so much hours into that game and it really is a masterpiece. i am a huge pokemon fan so im really glad someone made a blog about this.

OMG YES.
Sun and moon was PEAK (hands down their best entry).
And youre so right about the spooky stuff like? It was so cool going to the school at night and all the spooky pokedex entries you got with moon.
ALSO I hate the new designs they just feel so lazy to me. Especially some of the regional varients.
Like koffings one was so lazy and the whole Yungoose/Rattata varient situation was so cool.
Research was put in,it tied to the area the region was based off of,creative,made sense and super unique. And that was just for 2 pokemon in the starting area.
The fall off from sun and moon is crazy...
(sorry for ranting :p)
I hope their go back to X and Y doesn’t up like sapphire and pearl. Like they cannot mess X & Y up
