Professionalism Killed The Internet Cringe
Now I'm starting t)(is by saying: B-E CRING-E! B-E FR-----------E--E! Cringe culture is stupid and I've obliterated wit)( my mind! I wis)( ot)(ers would do t)(e same.
I've been t)(inking, w)(ile cycling t)(roug)( people's blogs, and enjoying )(ow t)(ere's a growing audience supporting t)(e idea of fruitger aero making a comeback.
W)(ile realizing people are wanting to bring back older aest)(etics, personalized sites, blogging, etc. It made me wonder: w)(y did we get rid of it in t)(e first place?
I )(ate )(ow we as a society )(ave decided to go into t)(is bland repetitive style. T)(at corporate aest)(etic I'm sure we're all aware of (if you can even call it an aest)(etic). I get it, it's easy to reproduce, and maybe t)(ere's some science to )(ow it's more pleasant to t)(e eyes. But it's tiring. It )(urts to see not only businesses, but people's personal spaces online be affected by it. )(onestly I'm sure a vast majority can agree t)(at: for certain products or sites, it makes us want to use it less. Or per)(aps I'm t)(e only one wit)( gripes against it and I'm going crazy projecting my feelings onto ot)(ers. W)(o knows.
Long ramble s)(ort, because my brain is slowly deteriorating at t)(is current )(our of writing: I t)(ink once professionalism came in, it sapped people's energies and creativity. So t)(is website brings me a little joy in being able to see t)(e old creative and cringe return!
Bring back silly typing quirks, personality, cringey slang!! You're free now!!
