Mushroom Hunting!

I went mushroom hunting with my mom and brother yesterday! My mom is part of a mushroom hunting group, but we have not been able to meet up recently for obvious reasons. We finally managed to do so (safely!) yesterday. We were searching primarily for "Winter Oysters," but we didn't find a ton. We did find a bunch of dry "Turky's Tail," though, and we are going to use that to propagate some in our backyard.

Mushroom hunting seems a little scary at first, because fungus has such an intimidating reputation. You hear so much about deadly poison mushrooms, but there are tons out there that are good and tasty, and you can just pick them for free! Do be VERY careful if you decide to forage for mushrooms, though: the potential for picking bad ones is still very real. When safety allows, try contacting an experienced forager to get you started.
