Bonnaroo 2022: Manchester, Tennessee
Bonnaroo 2022 was one of the most diverse and well put together entertainment experiences I’ve ever attended. From the campground to the stages, and even the showers and indoor bathroom, Bonnaroo delivered high quality hospitality and premier performances.
The campgrounds were located on a fresh summer field which the eco-friendly fest encourages its visitors to protect by recycling during their stay on the farm.
The 2022 festival featured legendary headliners such as Stevie Nicks and Tool. I was completely star-struck at the mere sight of Stevie Nicks, and the stage presence of Tool put me in a melodic, rocking trance. The line-up for this iconic festival, which was also the first Bonnaroo back from the Covid-19 pandemic, was absolutely insane. Every base was covered from rock to pop, rap, electronic, country, alternative and dance.
I saw the notable All Time Low, Tinahse, Machine Gun Kelly, Still Woozy, 21 Savage, CHVRCHES, Rezz, Mt. Joy, $uicideboy$, and so many more amazing artists.
The emo night was amazing. I was the girl jumping around who knew almost all of the words. People are often surprised to find out that I love emotive hardcore and similar genres, but at emo night, I feel more at home than almost anywhere else in the world.
Other experiences included a water slide and the Hulu Motel, from which I won a free towel. My single “I Play the Triangle” dropped during the fest and I felt like I added to the music in my own way. Overall, Bonnaroo 2022 was a summer fest to compete with the best, and I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else with anyone else.
