Soooo I just finished 10th grade, gave my finals and. School life's over.

Let me explain

Basically, in India you study all the subjects until 10th grade, then after that in 11th and 12th you do higher studies and you have to pick a "stream" with a more selective set of subjects. And, a lot of schools (especially where I live) don't have 11th and 12th grade so you end up having to move schools to one that does. My school's one of those.

Sooo because of this, many schools give their students a "farewell party" which is often times very similar to a "prom", so that we can enjoy our life one last time y'know

WELL, the farewell our school did was super boring, so the lovely people from our batch decided to do an unofficial one outside the school lmao

To be honest I was considering not going because I was sure I would end up being alone (or worse BULLIED) there, but no it was probably the most fun I've had in my life ^w^

The dress code was sarees (traditional Indian wear) for girls, and suits for boys, and everyone followed it and slayedd

I swear I don't think I've ever danced in front of people the way I did yesterday omg

Like, I'm pretty sure my saree was half falling apart and the toxic girls of our batch were making fun of me, but I DID NOT CARE I WAS VIBING

It was a bit awkward at first cause I had gotten into a few arguments with friends before, but we pushed that aside for the sake of FUN
