Sorry I skipped a week again.. Also, the first 10/10.
Revenge - Infiltration.Downfall.Death: Heavier and less repetitive, but I would also say less visceral. 7/10
Sonata Arctica - Ecliptica: All songs have something, some more than others. 8/10
Skyclad - The Wayward Sons of Mother Earth: Not sure if it's production or what but there isn't enough to some songs. 8/10
Bullet for My Valentine - The Poison: A tad long. The execution was near perfect, even the hardcore elements (an incredible thing!). 9.5/10
Saves the Day - Through Being Cool: Not super distinct, but they do what they do well. 7.5/10
Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American: Meh, I can respect it but I don't really like a lot. 5/10
Stratovarius - Destiny: Always has something to each song. 8/10
KAT- Oddech Wymarlych Swiatow: Imagine a darker, more raw Master of Puppets that has none of the performance issues. 10/10
Manilla Road - The Courts of Chaos: Going more doom. Mostly successful. 8/10
Thrice - The Artist In The Ambulence: Kinda samey and doesn't really stick well. 6/10
Hawthorne Heights - Fragile Future: A bit winded but they were still able to make good songs. 8/10
Symphony X - V: A The New Mythology Suite: Beautful, has the hardness metal needs, with a lot of flash and pomp. 9/10
Akina Nakamori - D404ME: Picks up in the second half. 7/10
Freedom Call - Crystal Empire: A few songs uneven, but all are very good. 9/10
The Starting Line - Say It Like You Mean It: I don't find anything out of this besides okay background music. 4.5/10
Boys Night Out - Trainwreck: Good at tension, but uneven in application. 6.5/10
Head Automatica - Decadence: Pretty strong. 8/10
Sleeping With Sirens - With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear: Lots of influences, all very well handled and integrated. 8.5/10
All American Rejects - Move Along: Generally good but very uneven. 6.5/10
KAT & Roman Kostrzewski - Popior: A bit phoned in. 6/10
Bayside - Cult: A few semi-duds. A few. 8/10
Mae - The Everglow: The middle portion is weaker and not very engaging. However, the first few and last few songs are beautiful. 7.5/10
Lurker of Chalice - Lurker of Chalice: More close to background music often (intentional, but still); maybe a bit unfocused. 7.5/10
Dashboard Confessional - A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar: Very good. 8.5/10
Korn - See You On The Other Side: Picks up after the first two singles. 8.5/10
Korn - Life is Peachy: First couple songs after "Twist" aren't as great, but gets much better. 8/10
Sleeping With Sirens - Gossip: Quite strong. 7.5/10
Nightwish - Angels Fall First: Sometimes weak and a little clunky. 7.5/10
The Damned - The Black Album: Also sometimes a bit clunky and unfocused. Second half is much better. 6.5/10
Germs - GI: Kind of works. Kinda boring. 6/10
Anti-Nowhere League - Kings and Queens: Slightly tired, but generally good. 7/10
Echo & the Bunnymen - Ocean Rain: A lack of atmosphere sabotages the engagement. 6/10
Amesoeurs - Amesoeurs: They merge post-punk and black metal but keep them too separate to make it work, but always good. 7/10
Agatus - The Eternalist: Occasionally flat, making for an uneven epicness. 8/10
