i remember finding the chalice of mind mv when it had like 10k views and when swords came out i was absolutely in love with his music and overall signature style it made me appreciate and see the beauty of jpeg compression and 240p webm videos.

it kinda reminds me of how chromatic aberration used to be seen as a flaw in old vhs tapes, or like film grain, vinyls crackling, the rough distortion of an electric guitar, the voice crack of blues singers, the list goes on honestly

its kinda interesting when new technology is able to not make those flaws it became an artistic choice

in a way i kinda see the same thing with very heavy autotune but i know alot of people are not a fan of that.
