Since I need something to do on this site, I think it’s time for me to create a blog. However, nothing interesting ever goes on in my life, so instead of me talking about my mundane life, it’s in this blog where I will rate and discuss albums, everyday, unless there’s a circumstance that stops me. Dance Punk Revival has been added as a genre on RYM (rateyourmusic.com) and two albums of this genre have caught my interest. You’re a Woman, I’m a Machine by Death from Above (2004), and No Kill No Beep Beep (2000). I am limiting myself to one review per day though, so I let the wheel of name website thingy pick for me (best out of 10) No Kill won by a mile, the score being 7/3.

COMMENTS
There isn’t a bad or even “ok” song on this album. Everything here is fucking great, the angular guitar, the tight drums, dancey-ass rhythms, and the frenetic energy of these songs. Even the slow songs like Kiss Distinctly American and Sleeping The Terror Code are really awesome. It’s this blend of dance-punk, phxc, sasscore, indie rock, post-punk, math rock, and emo that is so damn good. I’d recommend this to anyone who likes any one of those genres.
Feel free to comment and album below for me to rank it, if not, the next album I’ll review will be Atomizer by Big Black.
