is it possible to watch the same movie too much

i put on donnie darko (the movie) on again last night. i don’t even know how much times i’ve seen this movie since i believe 4 months ago, maybe?

last time i counted it was at least 40-41 times :( i legitimately don’t even know why i watch it so much at this point. i think it was because i could relate in some ways, and that makes sense now that i think about it. it’s not even about the movie at this point, is it? it could me like a habit, or comfort thing.
