I know all zero of my blog readers were waiting for this totally action packed update, so here I am to deliver it. For starters, let me just say this year has been a whole rollercoaster I was NOT prepared for.
First- Calculus it would turn out, is a class where we do basically nothing all the time. I am so disappointed by this, I was hoping to get a good math education this year because I take the SAT in April. I guess I was a fool. I have learned maybe 5% of the amount I learned last year with a different teacher. This lady is SO sweet, but she is not cut out to be an educator. I would learn better with a bird.
Next- Honors Contemporary Studies has been surprisingly enjoyable. I am SO glad I got switched into this class. I get to debate with the teacher a lot and he seems to think I pick up fairly easily on what were learning. The projects we do are up my alley too. I don't think I've ever found a history class this fun.
Then- Piano is actually super easy. I picked up on reading music way faster than I thought I would. I've become one of the best in the class, and I'm ahead of all my peers. Somehow, I've developed a love for piano I never knew existed. I hope to have my own piano one day.
Finally- AP Human Geography, oh my gosh. I cannot word how much I have LOVED this class. The notes are a little tedious but I honestly enjoy learning the material. The assignments are exactly what I expected and I'm used to doing things like them so it works out really well.
With only nine more weeks left of school, here is the update to update them all. With my SAT in less than a month and my AP test in less than two months, I am feeling pretty good about this all.
