I have been going strong with my efforts to stay awake. As of writing this I have been awake for approximately 39 hours. The only time I had failed was around noon yesterday when I had accidentally slept for around 15 minutes.
As for any noticeable effects due to the lack of sleep I've experienced: sensations of cold throughout my extremities, difficulty focusing on objects far away, and general brain fog. I will continue to document anything that I feel due to this experiment.
At this point staying up is relatively easy, only during the day does it truly become an issue. At night all I need to do is refrain from lying in bed while listening to music and watching livestreams which I've used in the past to fall asleep to. Visual stimuli is the most effective source of entertainment to avoid falling asleep, so I've been occupying my time with video games in order to also utilise the hands for enough activity to keep my brain awake.
