unfortunately you cant upload your image directly onto spacehey, you'll have to upload your images on an image-hosting website, then embed (linked) it back to your page using css/html. i'd recommend using sites like imgbb, filegarden, or catbox.moe.
and as for why, it's because it'll be very costly to pay for upload storage space, and since spacehey is free, having no ads running on the site, being developed by one person, and it's income are mostly donations, i don't think we'll have an option to upload image files directly onto spacehey soon :(
