Y'all's, can we just normalize being kind?

I see some people literally just be an asshole for the sake of being an asshole, and i think to myself.. what in the world is going on in their head?? Some of the people they get all asshole-ish on are people who made simple mistakes, or even more infuriatingly, nothing. Ive heard some people say “Well i do it to gain respect and have people not mess with me” … and being kind to people most likely means no fights and more respect.
