03/23/2025 — To new beginnings?

I’ve decided I’m gonna start a blog of sorts on here. Probably gonna talk about things I do, random thoughts, etc.  Probably a lot about the shows I play with my band. I’ll probably toss in a photo here and there. 

I’m not sure how often I’ll post. Wether it’ll be daily, or weekly, or just whenever I feel like it. But I do know each post will come out at the end of the day when I’ve turned into bed and the day is over. (You’ll quickly learn how absolutely fucked my sleep schedule is. xD)

It’s been a pretty uneventful day so far. Maybe this wasn’t the greatest day to start out on. I did however order a skeleton sweater and a new studded belt. In the spirit of starting a blog on a MySpace clone, I was feeling extra emo. Definitely gonna have to take a new profile pic from some ridiculous angle when that arrives, lol.

Still fairly uneventful. I was just thinking however about ways I could make these entries a little more interesting on days like today that are a bit more chilled out. Maybe I could throw in an outfit of the day segment. A song of the day maybe. I’ve been thinking about how I’m gonna code these entries and make them look all snazzy too. These entries will definitely get more fleshed out over time as I figure things out. For now here’s my outfit of the day:

Some leather look skinnies, a Knocked Loose t-shirt, and a black dress shirt over top. 

I mostly think I wanna start these entries to keep memories. But I also just really miss how popular screaming into the void on the internet about your day was back in the early 2000s. We definitely still have that in some aspect today, in the form of Instagram stories and posts. But in my opinion it’s not as… what am I trying to say…? Thorough? It’s less about the actual person and more about the visuals. Which is fine, but I just wanna take it back to the days before everything was so “simplified” I guess, lol. Or maybe I’m just insufferable and want an excuse to ramble. Stay tuned and find out, haha.

Remember when I said my sleep schedule is fucked? Well here we are lmao. I just spent the last little while practicing my bass parts. I came out for a smoke break, and there’s fresh snow on the ground. I HATE this time of year in Ontario. At this point in the year I’m always so ready for spring and the warmer weather to start, but it always likes to play keep away until mid-April. Sometimes later than that. When I see fresh snow, it always feels like 10 steps backwards. I don’t HATE winter. In fact, I think the snow is quite beautiful around the Christmas season. But by this point I’m always just so over it.

I laid down a played a little bit of CTR on Switch, and I think it’s time to turn into bed. As I mentioned earlier, I’m still getting my footing with this whole blog thing, so bear with me if this first entry was a bit lacklustre. I’m figuring this out as I go. Overtime the format may change, as I make adjustments to whats the most seamless way to execute this whole thing. Let’s see where this goes, if anywhere at all, haha.
