Tech Update #0

So here I am.

I wanted to keep a "logbook" of some sorts for my (future) tech-learning path.

I'm really not tech savvy. I still remember the day I struggled to close a tab on a computer. Not my brightest moment. I know some basics like connecting to Bluetooth but that's about it. And I'm done with that. It doesn't help that we don't have a PC but family computer will do it.

I'm part of a Linux community on Tumblr. I don't know anything about Linux but I thought I'd start there. I think I also joined a community for web design..? Not sure. Either way I still don't understand what they're talking about.

I was planning to ask the Linux community for some advice but figured that I was better off watching some tutorials online first. And I found some good looking ones. I found technology, hardware, software, coding/ programming, OS, networking, web design and more courses slash videos, for beginners. And up, of course. I'm hoping by the time I start watching courses for higher levels I'll finally know what they're talking about.

I actually signed up for a course on... web design? Years ago. The man who made the online courses was giving a speech at my school back then. He said that his (very expensive, mind you) course was free for us. So I signed up. I can't say I went very far but that's probably something to do with me, not him. So here I am again. I'll return to that course later... if I can, haha.

I am actually hyped for this but I don't have a "study plan" of any sorts so far. I'll go where it takes me. I'm too busy to make plans for that (not a very good thing to say, perhaps).

There it is. I doubt anyone will read this. But I like recording my progress. I hope I'll come back to this later feeling satisfied.
