god i’m watching invincible rn and i love how well written the characters are, like:

cecil’s manipulation of mark, like him using his dad as a positive/negative reinforcement if he doesn’t smth he doesn’t like, also him just being scared shitless of him in general. also he lowk wasn’t wrong about rehabilitating villains, if mark wasn’t so personally affected by the reanimen things he wouldn’t gaf

mark loosing his shit and all the regret that comes after, bro rlly lives in fear of loosing control + ngl the other variants show that fear isn’t all that unfounded

debbie in general, in the comics she was so one dimensional and basically just omniman’s wife, she’s fully fleshed out into her own character and i’m here for it. i think eve had a similar issue while basc being a god but always getting beat, love how they sorted that out in the conquest fight

ooh also rex’s character growth in general, he’s finally growing up yk + worked his way up into a fan favourite i love him my fav lil skrunkly
