Okay, I know DAMN WELL nobody is probably reading this, but this is something that has been on my mind right now.
Our generation. From 1995 to 2011. Why is everyone so mean? Like, every time I go on Instagram or TikTok, there are always videos made just to bully other people. I watched a YouTube video of this same topic, and somebody commented that there were so many people making fun of a Black child crying over the loss of his grandma. Calling him slurs and turning him into a joke. It's just sad??
My brother is like this too!!!! I always tell him not to be like that and stop being a b, but he just says it's a joke. It's crazy and it lowkey pisses me off so much 😭 This will sound extreme, but how are we going to live the rest of our lives knowing that being a little nice to someone (mostly being nice to women) is 'glazing' or trying to 'tap'? Or does having more than 3+ previous boyfriends make you a 'bop' as a girl, or having these 'alpha males' around?
We are 'cooked'. And something about it makes me sad. I never thought that being a teenager now would be the worst thing ever. It really does feel like everyone hates each other, and I wish people could just be nice. People are changing to be like everyone else. I barely see anyone who can like different things from somebody else, and if I do, they're usually just bullied or made fun of all the time 😔
It really ain't that hard you guys. Just be nice and respectful. Keep to yourself man </333
Edit) PS! thanks for all the comments after I posted this blog :) I loved reading them all, and although there are some problems with how people act towards each other now, focus on yourselves and do what you love doing. Life is too short to be worrying about what other people do and just do you <3

Yes, this is a problem, but this isn't a problem with just gen z. People aren't born this way; people are taught this way. Gen z was taught by the previous generation and the generation before that, etc

I totally fully agree with what you're saying. Trying too make friends or people with the same interest is so so hard now in days as a teenager. Mostly everybody keeps too themselves and when they do open there mouth too speak it's either a "Joke" about Men/womens bodies, Traumatic Life events, Or people who you should OBVIOUSLY not be talking about

I'd say it's because it's how humanity is. But this special Gen-Z style mean behavior is bc of our detachment from personal connection, if that makes sense. These people will never meet this young black kid and feel confident to say mean shit about this sad situation

i don't think people were any better before gen-z. ppl just wanna hate other people because it's our nature and yeah this is utterly dumb. they don't hate, they WANNA hate cause hate is all the world has even seen lately. and in my opinion all you should is try to move on cause you got no time to care abt what other people think about you, life's too short for this

I don't know why everyone is so mean! I have been bullied for my looks and skin color lots of times, and even got told to kill myself for no reason at all. As I said I don't know why everyone is so mean but I know it's gonna get worse in the future ╥﹏╥
