i feel crushed under your weight

always watching me, waiting for me to mess up

you're not healthy for me, but i love it

you're like the drugs i take

making me elated

but just like the effect of anything

you're temporary

i could throw you away

talk about you like all the others i've discarded

and i know one day i will

because trash is all you are

you look past my flaws, but you've failed to see the biggest one

chronic boredom

you're just something i'll inject into my veins

and throw the needle away when i'm done
