Retro JVC Camcoder!! ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Hello!! this is my JVC Camcoder, I love the design a lot!! (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) it gives old tech retro vibes. The lens is a f1.6, 43.2mm, it has 16x Optical zoom and 700x Digital zoom ⊹₊⟡⋆

It has this very cool LCD screen that opens and rotates 360° ᕙ(  •̀ ᗜ •́  )ᕗ

You can Also see that there are many slots, S-Video, AV are for streaming on pc, the DC one is for the charger and the upper buttons are for video playback, so the square is to stop reading, Night is start of the tape, Backlight is end of the tape, the one in the middle is pause/resume („• ֊ •„)

Oh also there is a button for the Light, I will talk about it! (˵ •̀ ᴗ •́˵)

The upper photo shows the camcoder when the light is turned on, what a beauty (≧ヮ≦) 💕   You can see below the flashlight off (double flash omg) AND the big microphone with the right and left side ( ꈍ◡ꈍ)

I don't know what's this called but it's super cool, it lets you see what's the camcoder sees, it also can be pulled out and in, it have a small rotating like button to set the focus of what you're seeing (◡ ‿ ◡ ) I dunnu if you can spot it, it's in the bottom

This shows the screen view and the silly eye thing bellow ( • ̀ω•́ )✧ I really love the in screen menu!! (๑>◡<๑)

Here!! the big battery, I found this camcoder abandoned at home and took it, the only issue it had was a dead battery, the grey one is the original dead battery (800mAh) and I bought a newer one that came from japan and has 1600mAh, it was worth it (  ≧ᗜ≦)

This is the buttons it has!!! so many! (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈) I love the feeling of clicking them, each button feels alive and has its own vibe and feeling, I feel connected to this thing so much ( • ̀ω•́ )✧

This model records on Mini DV Tapes!!!! HOW COOL IS THAT OMG, what do you mean this things goes in there and spins writing the data I record!!! (✯ ᗜ ✯)  It's super beautifull and it makes amazing sounds, it records in 720x480 (NTSC), it also has an SP mode (60 minutes) and LP mode (90 minutes), this is for my tape, there are amny out different ones out there! ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡)

This photo shows how the tape comes out!! IT MAKES AMAZING SOUND I LOVE IT SM ♡(˃͈ ˂͈ ) it's electrical and mechanical system!!

Filming and shooting on VHS also means that I need to put it on my pc to edit the video or store it, that's why I use this: ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა

Cables!!! (⸝⸝๑﹏๑⸝⸝)  AV slot to 3 colored AV slots, then the 3 ones are connected to the captur card that converts the AV input into an external camera for the pc!! I then use OBS Studio to record my footage!!!

I can also go tapeless, which means I record the camcoder screen directly from my phone when I use this OTG connector, however I'm not vrey comfortable with it since so many things on it and it gets disconnected, it makes it harder to record things, oh also tapeless means the screen interface is recorded too!! ⌞ ⌝ ( ˶^▾^˶ )

I also got the original french version of the manual!! french since it was imported from france!!! which means it's a Europe model, it's also written on the bottom of the camcoder (GR-D225E) the "E" stands for europe, however it's made in Malaysia, it's made in 2005!!!! which makes it a mid 2000s model (๑˃́ꇴ˂̀๑)!!!
