I cant help but listen to music from a artist/band thatβs problematic. I feel like a criminal when i do this. I know its not reallt possible separate art from the artistβ¦ but i really cant help but listen to them.
Is this bad? :(
Is it bad to listen to a artist you know is a terrible person?

Why do most people idolize their favorite artists as if they were perfect people?
We've all made bad choices in life.
If we focus on the past or actions of all artists, we'll find that most of them have done or continue to do bad things.

i personally don't think so. if we weren't allowed to enjoy things that were made by people who are morally unsound, we would never be able to enjoy anything in life.
live how you choose. as long as you aren't hurting others, it doesn't matter and never should

but everybody at some point has done something that other's will consider them a bad person for. that's the nature of people
if you tried to filter your life solely based off of who's good and who's bad, everybody is considered as a bad guy to someone else and thus you can't enjoy anything.

I get it. Everyone sometimes finds an artist they love and later find out they arent the best person. As long as you dont support the person then its not much of a big deal. But i would suggest not really telling anyone that you listen to whatever problematic artist/band?

imo I don't care who you listen to and everyone else shouldn't either It's just music! As long as you're not openly supporting ACTUAL bad people (pedos, racists, etc.) and only care for the music I don't see an issue. Not like it's gonna kill anyone brah!

I see where you're coming from thinking this is bad, And too many people they do thing of it as bad. But even I still listen too some music artist that SLAP yet they're called problematic. I understand how you feel, So. It's bad, BUT who cares??
