i like many others enjoy game related content. i like reviews, essays, interviews, documentaries, all of it. but man those big name game journalist companies p i s s me o f f. like b a d. i am so fine with a person having an objective opinion but sometimes a bad take is just a bad take- especially if there's no real substance behind the critique. how are you gonna give the fattest dog turd high praise then turn around and say a gold nugget of a game could be shinier- 7/10? infuriating.

they're gonna keep getting paid to do reviews which is going to make people trust them less and less making them rely more on the paid reviews than community engagement until it all inevitably collapses. but only after the right people get their money.
